Owner review draft · not yet effective
Terms of Service
Prepared for review on October 29, 2026. This draft needs operator details and legal approval before launch.
Draft status and eligibility
These proposed terms are not effective and are not yet an agreement with visitors. Operator identity, launch regions, minimum age, any parental requirements and effective date need owner and legal approval. Existing accounts are not treated as having accepted this draft.
The service
movii™ offers movie discovery, personalized rankings, saved lists, profiles and friend-visible reviews. Recommendations are suggestions, not a guarantee that a movie is suitable for a particular viewer. Movie details can change or be incomplete. The family-friendly genre filter is not a content rating or child-safety certification.
Proposed account and conduct rules
Use only accounts and information you are entitled to use. Do not impersonate others, access another person’s private information, abuse friend requests, post unlawful material, or attempt to bypass security. Moderation, reporting and enforcement procedures require approval before these terms are final.
Original and third-party content
Copyright notices for movii’s original material do not assert ownership of movie posters, film images, TMDB material or user reviews. Those materials remain subject to their respective rights holders’ rights.
The proposed approach is for users to retain ownership of their reviews while permitting the operation and display they request, including display to accepted friends. The exact scope and duration of any user-content permission needs legal review; no final license is imposed by this draft.
Accounts, privacy and deletion
Account and personal-data deletion are separate choices. Clearing data while keeping the account resets the username and profile and removes saved application records. Deleting the account additionally removes sign-in access. The Privacy Policy draft describes current handling and unresolved provider retention questions.
Items awaiting legal approval
Commercial plans, third-party licensing, changes to the service, termination procedures, warranty and liability provisions, governing law, dispute procedures, and an effective contact channel have not been supplied or approved. These terms must not be presented as final until those decisions are resolved.
